A completed watch project in support of the Swedish veteran community.

Completed project / Veterans Day
SEK 75,000 for Swedish veterans

On Sweden’s Veterans Day (Veterandagen), MALM presented the Swedish Veterans Federation with a donation of SEK 75,000, raised through our Swedish Peacekeeper and The Veteran watch project.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this contribution possible.

Honoring Swedish Peacekeepers

In collaboration with Sveriges Veteranförbund (the Swedish Veterans Federation), MALM developed two specially designed timepieces to honour Swedish peacekeepers and raise awareness of their service.

During the project, SEK 300 from each watch sold was donated to Gula Bandet (the Yellow Ribbon), which supports Swedish veterans and their families. The fundraiser has now concluded.

The Swedish Peacekeeper

Initiated by Fredsbaskrarna Gotland, the collaboration resulted in the Swedish Peacekeeper watch, which was offered exclusively to veterans who had served abroad on United Nations peacekeeping missions. Its design paid tribute to Swedish veterans while drawing inspiration from Swedish heritage and identity.

The Veteran

For supporters who had not served, we developed The Veteran. Based on the signature ACE model, this civilian edition gave a wider audience the opportunity to take part. During the project, SEK 300 from each purchase was donated to Gula Bandet.

Since 1953, nearly 70,000 Swedish Armed Forces personnel have served in UN peacekeeping missions around the world—from Korea and Congo to Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. These operations have helped bring stability and humanitarian aid to regions in crisis.

When including all Swedes who have served abroad under civilian authority or international missions, more than 100,000 individuals have contributed to global peace efforts under the Swedish flag.

Their service is not about conflict—it’s about peace, diplomacy, and humanitarian support. Through this project, we shared their story with more people and gave back to those who had given so much.

Sveriges Veteranförbund
(the Swedish Veterans Federation)
brings together all those who have served abroad—whether in military, civilian, or governmental roles. With over 6,000 members in 26 local associations, the federation works across Sweden to
support veterans and advocate for their needs.

Through its initiative Gula Bandet (the Yellow Ribbon), the federation also raises funds to assist veterans and their families in everyday life—providing financial help, community, and long-term support.

Thank you for making it possible

Gula Bandet is a symbol of support for Swedish veterans and their families. Its work helps those who have served abroad and their loved ones.

This watch project has now concluded. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the donation possible.
