The ACE explained
The ACE Pilots’ bold and distinguished aviation character is very much aligned with MALM's ambition to offer proper, Swedish pilot watches. Its 44 mm size, robust qualities, large hands and numerals make it the ideal pilot watch for any airborn adventurer. The ACE Pilot combines the look and feel of classic vintage pilot watches wrapped in a modern body using MALM's unique 4-piece case construction with an aluminum barrel.
The ACE Pilot with its rugged grip surfaces and large crown is easy to read and operate in a stressful environment such as in a cockpit. For excellent legibility in dark conditions, both hands and dial are equipped with C1 Swiss Super LumiNova.

When using your MALM watch, the watch will be exposed to different types of stresses and strains. Like many other advanced watches and gauges, a very large number of components share a very limited amount of space and like other valuable items you should treat your MALM watch with great care. It is important that you do not expose the watch to unnecessary impacts, chemicals, solvents, hazardous gases, magnetic fields or very cold or hot environments.
The timepiece should be serviced and maintained regularly to work properly. Such services should be performed by MALM or a professional watchmaker for warranty terms to apply. We offer many service options for your watch, from repairing and replacing worn components, pressure testing, resealing, cleaning to polishing, engraving and change dials and more.
The watch runs on a movement from Seiko called VK64 which is a combination of quartz technology and traditional mechanical engineering. Hour- minute and second hands runs on battery and the chronograph runs on the mechanical parts with a 1/5 second sweeping hand.
