    ABOUT THE CATALINA

Inspired by the historical aircraft Catalina TP 47, the Catalina combines details and characteristics from both pilot and diver watches. The combination made for air and sea gives the Catalina a unique design that’s easy to read and maintain.

CATALINA is a watch made to be frequently used. The bezel made of stainless steel is marked with minute markers and with numbers every minutes. The rough grip surface is easily grabbed with gloves and turns counterclockwise like vintage diver watches.

Dial and watch face has been designed based on the typical appearance of the Catalina's gauges and instruments with highlighted indexes and hands that appear in a beautiful, marine style. The iconic arrow found in classic vintage flieger watches is placed at 12 o’clock. . With skeleton hands, the dial is visible, and the large surfaces applied with Super LumiNova C1 lume makes the dial easy to read even in stressful or dark environments. The sub dials are also inspired by the gauges and instrument in the Catalina TP 47's cockpit.
